Bleak Friday

When writing with writers block, naturally there is nothing more to discuss then the mere of presence of said "writers block." I suppose I've been feeling the same elephant in the room when I stand in my closet lately *picture Cher Horowitz screaming out frustration in a battlefield of tartan and shoes, also, welcome to my wardrobe* My mother decided to lift me out of the rudder this week by offering a vintage pink jacket to my trousseau, which I gladly snatched up. I accompanied this with all white (I'm trying to expand from black, our relationship is rather toxic and my lint roller is tired...) and fun platforms. Oh, and how could  I forget my men's sport socks to keep my 80's jacket feeling vogue?

Resurrection

I've struggled to find a heart-wrenching excuse for my 3 month absence, so I've decided to fall back on the average teenage bluff for why I was so utterly consumed: Textbooks. With the BS out of the way, I would like to look at this return as something valid, not just another check in and out, but perhaps as a resurrection. A bit extreme? Undoubtedly. Fashion is exaggeration. Now to the point of all this - my outfit. I chose statement pants and point toe heels to distract you from my malapropos midriff, and finished it off with a turtleneck and shopper. With that said, thanks for checking back in loves! Xxx

Inclement Clash

With temperatures in the negatives, somehow I decided a knee length skirt would trick the system this week. I’m sorry to say my accusations were false, and my legs continued to be numb for a 30 minute drive on heated seats. Nonetheless, I chose to start my blog on a controversial subject, because who doesn’t love heated criticism? Navy and black. I spent my youth despising the combination, actually shying away from both shades to avoid the clash. Yet in the hustle of SoHo’s Zara close to my curfew over Winter break, something sporadic occurred when I snatched today’s sweater and skirt. Heeled booties finished the look, if it wasn’t already dull enough; and a fur jacket to convince myself I wasn’t legitimately experiencing hypothermia in the streets of one of my favorite little towns.
